NETBALL NZ – YOUTH BOARD CALL FOR MEMBERS
A leadership opportunity for your students as Netball NZ call for new members of their Youth Board.
The Netball New Zealand (NNZ) Youth Board was established in 2019 by a group of passionate sports advocates who developed a platform where “Youth Voice could be championed”. The key purpose of the group is to provide opportunities for our youth to learn governance, contribute to key decisions made on the strategic direction of Netball and provide an avenue to hear information on the ground in real time.
The next phase in building the youth boards capacity has been developed by the current youth board members and led by Georgia Trent who is also currently the Youth representative on the NNZ Board. They are calling for 8 new members to contribute to key portfolios they have identified as priorities in 2021.
